I was driving drunk and hit a gas line causing a 2 block evacuation. I was assessed in an ambulance and refused medical treatment. I then failed the field sobriety test. I was taken to the police station and given a breathalyzer and my bal was .18. I was released to my father with the promise that I would appear in court. I currently have an appointment pending for alcohol abuse counselling.

About a month ago, I got a "driving while impaired" violation. My court date is october 20th. I have never been through this before so I just wanted some assistance. I was pulled over within Grand Teton NP back in August and arrested on a dui charge with a blood-alcohol at the station of .099. I have never been arrested or have had any legal issues in the past. Currently I am attending school in Texas at Texas A&M University and Mr. Lee Pico US Attorney had moved my federal court date until October 20th so I could have my driver’s license transferred to Wyoming because of the difference in dui penalties with the state. As of now it is going to be a phone-in court date to plead guilty but I was wondering what options I might have, if any, trying to get a reduced sentence through the federal court system to avoid dui conviction?

I was pulled over a half block from my home. The officer said that I was driving strangely and that he suspected I was intoxicated. I did the field tests and the breath test. I was driving home after quite a bit of drinking, was making a turn when my phone went off, I looked down at it for a second and when I looked up, I was off the road and took out a hand rail and wrecked my car. I then exited the vehicle immediately and ran home. 15-20 minutes later, officers were at my door and was arrested for dui.

my 18 year old son was arrested on misdeamner dwi on friday in cheyenne. we live in denver. he has been in jail for the weekend and is scheduled to see the judge 10:15 am on monday. i have been advised that he will probably not see the judge, the case will be reviewed and bail set. I am not certain of the bac amount but I think they said .14.1) if he does not see the judge, do I need an attorney at this point?2) can I get him released to me without bail3) should I ask this question of the d.a.4) what do they do on out of state cases?Don't have a lot of money and my son is unemployed. Does he qualify for a state appointed attorney?
