I was arrested sitting in my own living room over 2 1/2 hours hours after I called to report hitting a deer. I had worked all day. Had no time to drink during the day. My boyfriend was also a witness. The cop lied about what happened. I did have a couple drinks after I got home. What are the chances of suing the cop and the county. I also lost both my jobs having to go to jail

On the night of december 8th, at 11:40 pm, i was in a car accident - I hit the median on the highway - even though I hit the median none of my air bags deployed so I hit my head on my steering wheel - this caused a lot of blood to come out of mose and eye (cuts) - this led to a police and ambulance coming - I was taken to the hospital - not given a breathalyzer at the scene or a field test - at the hospital i was told i have no choice but to take the breathalyzer, the bac was .10 - at no point was i arrested, but i have a court date on 12/21 - i asked if i could make a phone call and was not given that privelege.i no what i did was wrong and am willing to pay a fine of any amount and do as many community service hours or volunteer hours as needed, i am begging that they do not revoke my license. I need my license to go to work and to do the numerous charity and volunteer activities that i do

Spence II who is incarcerated in Bristol, VA Jail for violation of parole on an assault charge that took place while he was in jail in 2010.Mr. Spence was free on probation starting in Apr.,2011.His probation officer violated him on the charge above.The judge revoked his previous sentence on the conditions of his completion of his community service & a psych eval.He completed his community service and was cooperating with Frontier Health in the completion of his psychiatric evaluation.On his first evaluation Frontier Health had no further recommendations for treatment.His probation officer then went to Frontier Health & they changed their findings.He then made another appt.On this visit, he had to file a grievance in order to switch counselors due to a previous conflict.Upon receiving a new counselor, he went for another eval and they only completed the 1st part. The 2nd was to be completed on Oct. 24, 2011. The judge sentenced him for 6 months due to him not completing his psych eval on Oct 19. He wishes to appeal or have a sentence reduction.

first time offender, school teacher tested .15. not a big drinker. was not feeling well the past couple of weeks on scripts for Bronchial condition taking prescription cough medicine and allergy script. Was at local american legion with neighbors to play darts know I had 2 beers while paying darts, next thing I remember was being pulled over and hence the dui. I'm very ashamed and devastated , this is not me, something happened but I'm not sure what. I'm afraid i've ruined my life, I'm looking for help to bring this to a close with something other than a dui no matter the cost. I could not live with myself with anything else. help please!

Police officer did not stop me (no lights, no siren, did not pull me over), he approached me after I had gotten out of my vehicle in the public parking area and said he had received a report of someone running over a curb. I was given a field sobriety test, which I failed, was then placed under arrest and taken to the local hospital to have a blood test. Spent the night in jail and was released on my own recognizance. In june trial date was pushed out to december because the lab was 6 months behind.

I got out to fix it. A cop pulled up and then began questioning me. I was given field sobriety tests and then arrested.

Car slid off the side of the road into a ditch during a heavy rain storm. No one was involved but myself. There was no damage to the car or myself. I just wanted to get me out of the mud.I blew a .17 alcohol level and this is my second offense within 5 years. I am 58 years old and these are the only dui's I have gotten in the 40 years I have been driving. My license was suspended for 60 days. I need to get a restricted license to go to work. I have to take care of my husband who has kidney cancer as well as spondelous of the spine. I was shocked that my blood alcohol was that high. I was not stumbling. I could sign my name properly, etc. He did field test on me using a pen (up, down, sideways), but I did not have my glasses on.Please advise. I am not a bad person or a criminal.

I was found guilty, and had to serve 20 days of a suspended sentence of 12 months (11 months, 10 days suspended) I was also on probation and had to go to ASAP. I failed an urinalysis in May, 2011. I was not notified of an court date to find out what happens next because they took the paperwork to a old address. My new address was updated, but they failed to take it to the right address. ASAP, DMV, and the Court had/has my updated address, but neglected to admit that they took it to the wrong address, which therefore resulted in another arrest when I went into the court house to take care of other business (update my restricted driving privileged)They did not read my rights, did not let me make a phone call, and I did not know why I was being arrested until later. I also had to get bonded out-all because they took my info. to the wrong address.

Plead guilty in Jan. 2010 of a dui and hit-and-run. I recieved 180 with 160 suspended. I served 15 days in richmond city. I got out and had no home, car, money, job, phone... and no help. It took me 4 months to find a job and be able to pay for VASAP, but it was too late. I have warrants for my arrest and im truely terrified to go back to jail. The woman there crazy, I dont want to miss my kids and im in the middle of online classes that i dont want to fail out of. Im not sure what to do.
