License Suspension for DUI in North Dakota

For the second DUI offense, the driver’s license will be suspended for one year and if the driver was found to have Blood Alcohol Content of 0.18 or higher, license suspension will be for two years. In the case of a third DUI offense, the driver’s license will be suspended for two years and if the driver has been found to have a Blood Alcohol Content of 0.18 or higher, their license will be suspended for three years.

For a DUI offense in which the driver has a minor in the vehicle, the penalties usually involve a maximum fine of $2000 and maximum jail sentence of one year.
