D.W.I 1-i was driving down Owen Dr. to pick up a friend from the bar. The officer who pulled me over said he had been following me since i turned off of raeford rd. He said i had no headlights on and that i was driving in the middle of the street.D.W.I 2- i was taking soldiers back on post that i saw driving on the wrong side of the street due to being intoxicated. i pulled up to the gate and they were doing a checkpoint they gave me a breathalyzer it was inconclusive the gave me 2 more the last read .08. They then waited almost 2hrs and gave me 2 more, I then blew .09 twice and was then charged with a D.W.I

stopped due to rear light out around 2am dec10/11. have previous conviction blew .10 and license restriction of bac .04 which trooper agreed to allow me .08 and he would let me go because i cooperated. I went to hear a band that my neighbor used to play in and was to ride home with him. At the end of the night, I couldn't find him or his vehicle because he had let someone use his truck and drove their car to the club. I was alone in a parking lot and scared with no cab service in this town. So I drove towards my boyfriend's house which was closer to mine and was pulled. I was released to my neighbor without bond.

I was charged for a dwi and reckless driving offense when i ran over a curb damaging the rental car I was driving in the process. There was no bodily injury and no other vehicle was involved in the accident. The Officer performed certain tests which I did well but I was charged with a dwi and arrested and at the arrest center the breath test was conducted in fromt of a witness and it recorded 0.07% AC which the officer told me was below the stipulate of 0.08%. Please let me know the next steps that need to be taken. My license was given back to me and The court hearing is scheduled in E 4th street in Charlotte on 1/27/2011.

I was passed out in the front seat with no intentions of driving. Woke up to frigid temperatures so I turned the heat on and began feeling sick. Officer pulled up to see me hanging out of driver's side throwing up. Informed him that I thought I had contacted my mother to come pick me up. He took me to the magistrates office where I performed a field sobriety test and breathalizer where I blew a .11.

(Concord, North Carolina) Cabarrus county

My Car broke down on side of road. I called my exhusband(big mistake) to come help me.. He said NO and said he was going to call police to help me. I waited at 20 minutes noone came. I walked up interstate 1/2 block to see if anyone had gas can for gas because my Gas gauge has been broken for a year. Noone had one. I then went in store and bought a 20oz Bud Light and sat on corner crying because my Lexus was on side of road and couldn't get help because my cell phone died. I then decided to walk home since it was a mile up the road. I was almost to my home and 2 cops came swerving over and gave me a breathalizer and arrested me. I told them i had a half a glass of wine @ 7:30p at Razzoos and that that was 5 hours ago. I also told them I walked up highway drinking my 20oz because i was upset. They told me that they had to take me in because My EX HUSBAND had told them i was drinking. Once to police station they let me go home because I have no prior convictions. No w mylicense is revoked for 30 days.. I am a single mother of 2 who have school, basketball, and cheer all week. I also do this all on my own because the father moved out of the county. i need my license because I am a nurse and I have a job to go back and forth to! Any help would be great! Thanks

I was arrested for a dui 9/11/08, my case was continued once by me to hire an attorney, and my attorney continued it twice just to give me some more driving time. Then the court continued it indefinitely because they were too backed up in cases. Since then I was arrested and convicted of another dui. Last December I moved to Virginia and started a new job and found out too late that my case had been called to court on my original dui and I failed to appear: bench warrant. I would like to ultimately resolve this, but now I am on the verge of being eligible for my license again. In order for me to resolve this at all, I would have to return to NC and turn myself in then either bond out or wait for my court case. I had hoped that the arresting officer had moved onto another police dept somewhere, but alas, he is still there. None of my options look great. Any advice?

went out with some friends hadnt ate since 2 that day, got to place around 9:00 drank 3 beers left place at 1:30 headed home had my last beer at 12:30 they had road check i already knew they were having a check they do every weekend i think that is intrapment. I never thought i was over the limit or i wouldnt have left i blew .08 first at the truck and than a .11 at the station. Didnt think 3 beers would get me a dwi. Cop said it was because i hadnt ate. got released that night to a friend they kept my license for 30 days. I also done the stand on one leg test i passed that.

I am contacting you on behalf of my son. Here is the situation:25 year old male, full time college student who wants to be a nurse.Just moved to Wilmington in August to attend school and doesn't know anyone. An out of state friend comes to visit him and they go out. On Friday, 10/14, 12:45 am,Stopped for alleged speeding, based on officer's visual determination,no radar. First time dui arrest and jailed overnight. Officer stated my son was the most polite person he has ever encountered. Nothing else on DMV record. No other legal involvement. Court date is 11/10, New Hanover County.In addition to his regular full time schedule, he needs to start Certified Nursing Assistant training on 11/7 but cannot drive. Is it possible to get permission to drive and plea this down to something other than a dui? I'm thinking that a dui conviction would end any possibility of becoming a nurse. Thanks!

I went around the race track at charlotte motor speedway to pick up by husband. We were camping there. The traffic cones had been moved to allow race traffic to leave and I had to get on the state road to get back to the camper. I was sitting in traffic waiting on the officers to motion me to go on and the officer shined a flash light in my car and saw a cup. I was not planning to be on the highway, I was even wearing my pajamas. I was only 25 feet or so from the camper when he asked me if I had been drinking. My speed never got above 30 while I was under the wheel and I was stopped when the officer approached the car. My total time in the car was less than 15 minutes.
