husband was arrested for dwi. breath test on site was .12. at station he requested a blood test which they told him they did not offer and took another breath test that was .119. this is first offense. we are self employed.

I was completely compliant and took a handheld breathalizer test. I blew a .17. I was able to leave my Uhaul and vehicle on the side of the freeway under the understanding that my mother could come and move the vehicle for me. I want to file a plea agreement to reduce my offense from a dui to hopefully a wreckless driving or similar offense. I had a life changing experience earlier in the day and I would like to explain to the judge that I was pretty much temporarily insane. I was kicked out of my townhome by my girlfriend, I quit my job, and I was in the middle of relocating from Apple Valley, MN to Duluth, MN. What are my chances of me being able to reduce the dui to a lesser charge?

I was at a campground and I was drinking with friends at another campsite. My sister and I started to argue and she called the police and said that I drove my truck. I was not near my truck nor did I have possession of the keys. I was arrested for dwi and did not take any field sobriety tests. When we got to the police station I was offered the test there three times I was belligerent and asked for a attorney and refused the test. My truck was forfeited and I was charged with refusal. I have not been to court yet and this happened in the middle of august. I have been with out a license and with out a vehicle since. I have gone and graduated treatment since. I had a implied consent two years ago and a dwi 10 years ago.

i was sitting at a stop light in maple grove when the car next to me advised that my lights were not on. I have a new car and am not used to the lights not automatically going on. So this does happen once in a awhile, i turned my lights on the light turned green and i turned left. Thats when the police officer speed up behind me and turned on his lights to pull me over. The night started out at my girlfriends house i had a drink there at 815 and also a little baileys (close to a shot but not really). Myself and 4 other girls piled in my car and we went to wild bills in maple grove. While we were there my shoe broke, i ordered a beer before my shoe broke and had only had a few sips before this happened. i decided i had to go get a new pair of shoes. I drove with one of my friends to walmart in maple grove and bought a new pair of shoes. We returned back to wild bills and i went back and grabbed my beer and drank that one the rest of the night. We left the bar around 2am ora little sooner. My 4 other passengers were all very drunk. Believe me i had two of them peeing in the parking lot one falling down a hill, it was like corralling cattle to get them to leave the bar and into my car. So back to when i got pulled over. The officer didnt advise why he pulled me over, he did ask for my license and insurance. He also advised he could smell a very stong odor of alcohol. Which is yes, i have 4 drunk girls in my car. He asked me to step out of the vehicle. I had to follow his finger, walk 9 steps toe to toe forward and back and also stand on one leg and count. Which i never stumbled. Again i did pretty good with new high heel shoes on. Then i did the breathalyzer. He said i blew a .11. He asked when my last drink was and i said maybe an hour ago i dont remember. He then arrested me and put me in the back of the squad car. I followed all instructions and never fought back on anything. I was very cooperative. They took me to the station andthen to the clinic to get a blood draw and then back to the station for the full 9 yards. I have never ever been arrested, this was my first time and i was in shock the whole time. So i am in need of help, advise or whatever. Since im not a repeat offender and like i said i never ever been arrested, im not sure what will go on or what fines, ect... I also have a blood/vascular disease called vasculites and high blood pressure that i have been on medications for over 15 years. So im not sure if they come into factor either.

I am 17. I was pulled over for going 48 in a 40 last saturday. I also have been smoking marijuana prrior to this event. I had less than 1 gram in the car. I was later arrested for a dui for marijuana use.This is my first offense and this is the third time I have ever smoked marijuana. I am very scared and I also am not aware of the possible charges that I can get.

I was just sentenced yesterday for my 2nd. dui in 3 years. I was given a plea agreement with my public defender that stated 2days in jail, 2yrs probation and possible a fine. When we went before the judge; I was told I also needed to choose between to 28days home monitoring or 224hrs of community service. I was put on the spot to choose and I believe I chose wrong for my situation and work schedule. I chose community service, but would really need to have home monitoring. Is there a way I can get this switched?
