supposed call in agusta and supposedly was said that I was driving acaticlly.Just to let you know I was driving and had been driving across state from a job from virgina.So as i got tired I pulled over got something to eat and a beer and then drove on to the rest area,pulled in drank my ber and ate my supper and then fell asleep after driving 28hours.Then a state trooper knocked on my window,I had the radio on but it was parked and ingion was not running .I was then taken in for oui.....for one it wasnt running my behicle for tow statue of limations say with 6yrsafter .. i need to know how they can get me for oui when i wasnt driving and it was parked i was awoke from sleep the officer knocked suppoedly 4or 5 times to wake me ...there has to be a mistake

I recieved an OUI on June 17th. Several years ago, I recieved a Misdemeanor charge related to alcohol, but I have no Criminal Record. I pulled over after realizing I had gone the wrong way down a one way street in Bar Harbor, Maine. A police Officer noticed me and pulled over behind me, I failed the breathalyzer test and was arrested, blowing .15 . I do not wish to fight the case, however, I have some things for consideration which could potentially be grounds for a minor reduction in penalty (driving to endanger, or reckless driving, plus the traffic offense for driving the wrong direction down a one way.) I would like Legal Representation so that the following information is clearly defined before the court: I am in my fourth and final year of College, studying to be a Teacher, which having an OUI on my record would make harder to get a job. I am going to Alcoholics Anonymous and seeing an alcohol counselor (without court appointment) on my own free will, following my OUI. I have taken a serious vow to stop drinking forever, which my AA sponsor can attest to in person (and in court) if needed. Additionally, should I receive the full punishment for Operating Under the Influence, I would like legal representation present to appropriately defend some conditions for my license (for after the hard suspension period). I live a far distance (about 15 minutes) from my college and need to drive to class. My roommate does not have a vehicle, so getting to class will be very difficult.

I have two prior OUI's, 1997 and 1998, I was 19 at the time. I was pulled over two days ago for speeding and was asked to do sobriety tests. I was arrested for OUI and was given a breathalizer test at the police department.I'm not sure if this will be considered a frist offence or a third offence. My previous OUI's were over 12 years ago.

i got charged w/ oui.they put me on maine pretrial for a year then sentenced time served 1 year probation along w/3 years loss of license,w/option of breathalizer i my vehicle after 9 months.I will be off Off probation in october 2011,my fine along w/ probation fees will be paid off next month in june. i wnt to move out of Maine;to a dfferent state,but what about breathalizer, ignition lock.

i have had 3prior dui's in the state of maine.My suspension is over.I am currently seeing a counciler,and he gave me an assignment of the consequences of a 4th dui.I have completed my deep classes,which is 20hrs of counciling.Was evaluted by one,and she was going to let me have my license back but her super rejected it,which was 4hrs of evaluation.I am currently seeing a diffrent one,which was an automatic 12 sessions.
