arrested on dui, bonded out on $2000. bond (cost $200. cash). Was on parole and parole officer had me arrested for a technical parole violation. Would like to get the dui case going so possibly I could serve both at same time.

(Independence, Kansas) Montgomery county

Stop at a stop sign about to cross highway. Three sheriff cars pulled infront. One asked if I was the one in the wreck I said no three or four times. Then he asked if I had anything to drink I said yes. At this point he still thinks I was in a wreck so he has me give a blow test. After the blow test he finds out I wasn't in the wreck down the street. Then. I get arrested on my second dui

Was pulled over for tag light out on K10 July 09. Blew .0155 so was mandated to have no license for 1 year plus 2 years with interlock device. Was just told today the only way to get back regular license was to have the device installed for 2 years. What about not driving for that period, any options there? I have gone over a year on my suspended thinking I could get it back after less than one more year and was told by Ace Interlock that is not the case. Can you help and/or clarify?? Thanks

I was arrested October 1, 2007 between 9 o'clock and 11 o'clock; asleep in my vehicle of my driveway; outside city limits, meaning my house was at that time outside city limits 6 and a half miles. Being awaken by drug taskforce officer snatching open my door yelling my name.. I was approached then by an officer in uniform, which had to be either a sheriff , Im not sure he was Highway patrol..I do believe it was Ellis county sheriff. Then he began asking me a series of questions...I told him that I was very tired and just decided to take a nap in my car...( i had been given a prescription from my physician for ambien; due to insomnia as well as a child in need of care case (stressed-lack of sleep,loss of appetite,) I passed the field sobriety tests..SLEEP. the drug taskforce officer(whom had been harassing me from August 27, 2007..(the day he and at least 4 other men came to the same country location to tell me that my children(two boys were being placed into police protective custody) Well he went on talking crap about me having anything in my car that he should know about..DRUGS, open containers, so on a so forth... The whole time I am sitting in the driver's seat of the car while he is going thru everything he can get his hands on... well he had the officer call the ambulance before he started tearing up my car...I refused to go with the ambulance because I told them both that I was extremely tired and had also taken my medicine... So he destroyed my car and ransacked my belongings...was talking straight shit to me...And I was coherent enough to chat back at him...so he said..Yep go ahead and arrest her for a dui... Yes the did not smell alcohol..so no type of breathe test was offered.cause the officer in uniform stated he did not smell alcohol..even after i did the field sobriety with my eyes closed..so I get handcuffed and taken to jail. I bail out...meanwhile I am pretty much aselep the whole time...My Girlfriend comes I am getting pink slip from arresting officer and he then decides to say that we are gonna take a trip before I am let go..I said to where.. He said to quest. to have a blood test done.. I am not a fan of needles and i refused.. No ..I do not remember any rights read to me about refusing any tests or otherwise.I was appointed the same court appointed attorney for the alleged dui as for my children's attorney...(now deceased as of almost 2 and a half years...)At no time did anyone inform me that the dui hearing was a separate hearing until I had to go to the administrative hearing in FEB... and was wondering what this part meant...Well the actual hour of I realize that this is separate from the dui itself...I had no attorney and lost my administrative hearing.. That exact day and basic hour of the admin hear, I called appointed(lyer) and asked was he meeting me here and he then reluctantly told me that the hearings were separate and He was not part of the admin hear, I was rocked....so I was told that i lost the case through a letter sent in the mail. and the information reflected the interlock ignition component had to be installed into my car for a year and then from suspended to restricted within the calendar year consecutively..Once I had the component successfully for a year. the reinstatement is another fee to the DMV for reinstatement allowing me to have a license back.Then when it was time for the criminal hearing... The county attorney specifically stated that he had no evidence for a dui conviction..The appointed attorney then made it seem as if my alternate option would be to make a plea...WTF...He accepted Wreckless Driving(which is just as bad) Without one ounce of respect for my rights, future, livelihood to be mobile or eliminate all charges even though he had lead me to believe that He was my attorney for this dui..All I Know is that this situation is not limited to policy and procedure...On October 7th 2011 I was ticketed for expired insurance as well as no componet and driving on a resticted... Went to court this morning and showed proof of insurance but was appointed another attorney for this charge as well as having the installation set up to be this afternoon.. I did not have a car from November 2008 til April Of 2010...There is alot more to this story..Please contact me in regards... Thank You so much

I was given a dui. I supposedly moved a car 12 feet diagonally, yet I am sure she backed out in front of me as I pulled into a small grocery store parking lot. I immediatly checked to see if she was ok, but oddly, she was parked back in her slot, a car in front, and one beside her, that weren't involved. I couldn't pass the field test, ( no one could)I took a feild breathalyzer test but, just like the one I took at the jail, I was told I had a 2.8, when I drank 5 red beers the night, and morning before, none after around 5 A.M. to try to relax, and hopefully sleep. I finally did, and woke at least 7.5 hours later. I sure as heck wouldn't have driven just 3 blocks away if I did feel impaired. Only paperwork was the ticket, No time listed on it. A form DC-27, no time listed. No results from the test other than verbal claims I was " a damn liar", and a blank dc-70.

I got a dui when i was 17 and got it deverted but then 4 years after that which would of been may 2010 they suspened my licence for a year. I got my 2nd dui October 8th 2011. I havent heard yet what is going to happen, but i have a wife and daughter age 2 and responsibilites to my family. I am the main source of income for us. My wife works part time and goes to college. We would just like some insite on what might happen and if there is any way we can get the least amount of punshiment possible. The only other priors i have is my first dui.

stopped in kc, mo while driving on suspended kansas license. given a blood alcohol test that was less than .02. also given a ticket for running a red light and failure to pull over. when i went to my hearing, i was told that blood alcohol was over .08. i went to court sept 8 and was advised to get an attorney and return dec. 8
