I had a breath test when the police gave the ticket. I admitted to smoking pot which resulted in me having a blood test which showed pot content in my blood. I paid a lawyer but i still ended up with dui on my driving record, six month driving license suspension, 40 hours of community service. what can I do to get the dui off my driving record before seven years.

I drove out of a bar & resturant picking up my fiance (contractor); I drove towards the hotel were he stays. I noticed a cop car following me close for awhile; he stopped me. I was in shock,.and dont remeber much..but I told him I had a drink...I did have 2 drinks with my meal. I am only a social drinker. He conducted a dui field sobriety test, and I passed all the test. Then he had me do the breath test with result to .11. I had all good coordination movements, I am worried if the devise was accurate. I know that my car has an alinement issue (stears to the left); there are two charges: failure to maintain and dui; My legal residence is in dothan, alabama. I have only 8 days left to expire my appeal to maintain lic. I work full time in Alabama and I am in the Army National Guard of Alabama. I would like to try to get the charges dismissed or plea down to reskless driving.  thanks

Summary:dui possession of controlled substance weavingCase description:i was charged with dui alchohol however no breathalizer was given and I had NOT been drinking. my urine and blood were taken at the police station which will only show the alprazolam and hydrocodone that i was taking on a daily basis with a prescription given by my doctor. the police said I failed the sobriety test because i stumbled on the straight line walk (i have a medical disability imparement of 25% in my right ankle which doesnt allow for proper balance) also charged with possession of a controlled substance for the alprazolam prescription I had because my pills were in a pill container I purchased at wal-mart and not in the bottle they came in and was not allowed to look for the bottle they came in which I did have in my vehicle at the time.

I went into a local liquor store that i had visit earlier that day. To buy a pint of vodka. I did purchase the bottle. Returned to my car, i got in put the key in the igntion, and began to pkug up my tablet to charge so the battery would be full when i got home. It took a mintue or three to find the charger, and by the time i did, there was a cop knocking on my window. He ask me for my licsence and insurance so i gave them to him, he stated that he had been following me. And took my licsence and insurance back to his car. After a few mintues he came back and told me he smelled alcohol on me and asked had i have a drink today, i told him i did have one earlier. And he asked me out of the car and by this time there were other officers thier. The officer asked me take a breath test i did so. The officer looked at the test and got really upset, and told me not to "dick" around with him, and i asked him what did i do. He told me not to play with hime and contuined to curse and ye ll atme. And told me to blow again and i refused. And he said i was under arrest for dui and took me to jail. I was in jail for nine days, before i was bonded out. I just found out tonight from a neighbor that it was the lady at the package store, that was upset with me about a few dollars i borrowed a little while back. That i tried to pay back to her earlier that same day. Is who called the police on me.

Popped a tire and was pulled by highway patrol on Roswell at Wiuecca. Given field test in freezing cold, refused on spot breath test, breath test at station was .156 twice. Very emotional at the time. Had fight with family prior and while driving.

On Sat Nov 5th driving home late night with a buddy, as I made a legal turn into a private business parking lot to turn around i got pulled over by a city policeman for no apparent reason. I was asked if we had been drinking and I replied yes, then the officer had me come out my truck to do a sobriety test which i passed with flying colors. He then huddled up with a fellow officer for 45 sec and then asked for me to take a breathalyzer test which i failed. Then I was arrested for a dui while my friend drove my vehicle home.
