  • License Suspension: Your license will be suspended for one year.
  • Community Service: You will have to do community service for at least 60 hours and up to 120 hours.

Penalties for Second or Subsequent Offenders of Colorado DWI Laws

  • Jail: You can go to jail for a period of any where between for 90 days to 1 year.
  • Fine: You may be required to pay a fine between $1000-$5000.
  • Community Service: You will have to do community service for between 60 and 120 hours
  • Minors (Under 21): If you are under the age of 21 years and your chemical test results are BAC 0.02% or more, your license will be suspended for one year and you will be subject to adult penalties.
  • Commercial Drivers are charged with drunk driving if their BAC is 0.04% or higher. Offenders loose there license for one year and face criminal penalties.
