I WAS STOPPED WHILE LEAVIND THE PIOLOT TRUCK STOP AND WAS ALMOST RAN OVER BY AN 18 WHEELER RUNNING THE STOP SIGN.. I WAS 100 YARDS FROM MY HOME BUT I WAS STOPPED CAUSE I CUSSED AND HOLLERED AT THE TRUCK DRIVER FOR ALMOST RUNNING ME OVER. I DIDNT BREAK ANY TRAFICK LAWS.. HE DID BUT THE TROOPER TOLD ME HE WAS JUST TRYING TO MAKE A LIVING.. YOU CAN COME SEE HOW MANY TIMES A DAY THIS HAPPENS..

husband was convicted of dui and have an appeal arriagnment tomorrow. He is a truck driver and they are broke down and he is not sure if he can make it for court. Was trying to hire someone to stand in for him an file an waiver for arraignment in his place.

Drove drunk, I spent 17 hours in jail in Russell County but pulled over by a Phenix City PD cop. I really need the charge reduced. I don't plan on living in Alabama that much longer and need to do whatever I can to get the charged reduced so I can move and keep my life on schedule. The only other offense I have is a dwai in Colorado over 2 years ago. Other than that I haven't had any other offenses of any kind.

legal prescription medicine, also had three year old son with me, i was on methadone for pain, after comming off morphine. methadone is a opiate blocker and has no euphoria effect. how do they think they have a case? five days prior to arrest, medicine was reduced to half at my request. if anything i was withdrawling. dont make sense.

this dui was back in 2000 all fines have been paid all jail time done also, to get my liscen back they say I have to do a court referal program & a alcohol treatment, and pay a resatution on a accident that was involed the judge at the time of court said that was a civil matter but I was tried for all the crimal offences completed all that but this is what i'm told I have to do now. I even went to a rehab center for 28 days completed it in 2/2011 seeing and paying a cro office for the last 6 months. I think they just want more money from me just to do all this to be able to get my lic. back. what do you think.

Parked at service station after pumping gas in car. Was offered opportunity to call someone to pick me up & was unable to reach anyone to do so. Was arrested for dui,refused breathalyzer. I have previuosly been arrested twice for dui in past 2 years HOWEVER I have not been charged with dui in either of the 2 prior instances.

I pulled into the parkinglot at a local bar and grill. I had been in an arguement with my wife and did not want to continue the conflict so I left in order to keep from escalating the situation. Once parked I noticed the police officer behind me. I exited my vehicle and met the police officers at the rear of my vehicle. They then proceeded to execute a field sobriety test in which I failed according to the officers. They then administered a breath test where the report shows that I blew a ,08. I was then placed under arrest and taken to the local jail where I was able to sign myself out on bond 2 and 1 half hours later.

My truck was reported as being driven irratcally by a private citizen. The citizen claims to have followed the vehicle to a private residence. When police arrived I was inside said residence, the truck was parked outside with the keys in it. I was asked to step outside then placed under arrest.I was given no field sobriety test and refused the breathilizer at the jail. No officer ever wittnessed me driving.

I'm an Alabama resident with an Alabama license but was arrested and later convicted for dui in Florida last year (Nov). Because I refused the test, Florida has suspended my license for a year. I had a FL lawyer. I will have met all conditions of my formal 6 month probation. In November, will I be required to get SR 22 insurance or not for reinstatement? In some places I read you will only need it to prove financial responsibility and/or if the judge ordered it; and neither is the case for me. Again, is SR 22 insurance required for each and every dui? The DMV lady in Foley, Alabama has never mentioned it when I have asked her what will I need other than money to reinstate my AL license when the time comes. Please advise.
